Help where needed but mostly focus on IT related tasks and issues. Worked with team to design, create, and support new church website and blog. Troubleshoot issues that include, but are not limited to, networking, personal computers, software, VOIP phone system, and mobile phones and applications. Also help church members with computer related issues, new computer purchases and setup, and software installations.

I’ve been a key team member involved with Alltel / Verizon Wireless divestiture and transition support from a management and technical standpoint working on development projects involving such items as data warehousing extracts, summary table creation and loads, and other related tasks involving ETL processes.

Alltel Information Management Application Development – manage team of employees and technical contractors, responsible for interviewing and hiring of new employees/contractors, managing the day to day activities of each employee/contractor as well as their progress on individual project work, assigning resources to projects, reporting to upper management, involved in technical guidance and decisions for team, data modeling and standardization of new warehouse components, and requirements gathering and clarification so as to make projects more successful. Lead teams on multiple data warehousing projects that include, for example, a Prepaid Reporting System upgrade, redesign, conversion, and migration which saved approximately $2M+, was completed on time and on budget. Another being a Prepaid Analytics project for handsets and channels that will allow for critical analytics on inventory, sales, and fraud which could not be performed prior. A third example is a Sprint Roaming Settlement clearance project related to roaming data usage that will save approximately $6M in expenses per year.

Alltel Information Management Application Development – team lead involved in project management, interviewing, hiring, and managing technical contractors used on multiple data warehousing projects, leading others in requirement gathering, modeling, development, and implementation involved with data warehousing projects. Recent project work includes helping with design and development of Alltel’s new aWare data warehouse which was built to adhere to the new enterprise-wide telecommunication data model. Was strategic to the design, modeling, development and implementation of an IVR Customer Satisfaction Survey sourced from the new data warehouse which ended up cutting customer satisfaction survey costs by 90%. Also modeled, designed, and developed a Roaming Call Detail datamart that was implemented into the new data warehouse.

Alltel Information Management Application Development – requirement gathering, modeling, development, implementation involved with data warehousing projects, includes leading other developers on larger projects as well.

Browser Based Interface (BBI) implementations – installation, architecture development, customization and compilation of BBI product along with BBI server and web server setup.

Information Warehouse (Data Warehouse product) implementation team – mainframe host extracts and client server database components along with business analyst functions including data gathering, testing, documentation and phone support. Main responsibility was customizing the banking data warehouse installment for client banks which would include on-site implementations in financial institutions in locations such as Australia, Argentina, Thailand, Peru, and Puerto Rico. Also involved in proof of concept and sales demonstrations for different corporations in these areas.

Core banking application conversion team – mainframe host conversions, mainly responsible for NationsBank G/L system conversions.Data center support team – deposit and loan application programmer.
