Develop processes and hardware to clean Semiconductor parts

Process and equipment expert thin films tool sets by maintaining tool availability, detecting and following up on yield signals, optimizing PM schedules, managing technician training and many cost saving projects. Developed and installed excursion prevention monitors using the FabGuard application. Developed a long life syringe for Cu Use Lean manufacturing by introducing factory to systems and championing PM standardizations and implementing fast improvement tracking throughout factory

Process and equipment expert (module owner) for the Novellus Sequel/Altus tool set with the Ecosys abatement tool. Troubleshot and resolved integrated issues involving many process modules. Developed/Authored/Implemented technical changes for quality and availability improvements relating to equipment and process. Developed many RFC's for manufacturing environment along with training technicians to effectively troubleshoot. Co-managed/mentored technicians to develop skills that coincided with area priorities and personal growth. Mentored other engineers. Delivered significant cost savings reductions through projects in direct/second sourcing and monitor elimination.

Scope: Decommissioning 13 Amat 5000's, the installation of 8 Novellus Sequels and 14 HDP Amat 5200 installations or conversions.Owned Novellus and Amat Master Design Package and equipment database for the multi factory network. Lead install team of 12 people. Managed a construction budget of $40 million. Schedule: Semiconductor manufacturing ramp that was changed several times and still met all commits.

AMAT 5000 coordinator for routine maintenance and equipment upgrades. Worked with Engineering and virtual factory as a key member to resolve sustaining issues. Transferred 858 technology form TD to virtual factory. Authored checklists and specs for maintenance programs. Authored many white papers for equipment upgrades. As technical leader for the virtual factory helped resolve many complicated equipment issues. Lead VF equipment team. Coordinator for CVD and Diffusion in Fab's mass retooling effort. Responsibilities included developing checklists for tool removal, ramping up tool set removals by 4 months, while role modeling safety. Acted as Emergency Response Team leader. Received two Divisional Recognition Awards for Fab Closure Team TMT and Fab Post Production Team.

Worked on the Applied Materials P5000 tool set which included Tungsten, ILD, & Passivation tools as the equipment and process expert. Worked on Semi-gas Panels and systems and Air Products VMBs. Performed system maintenance on Edwards and Leybold dry pumps. Was a member of the Emergency Response Team for factoryTransferred process and equipment knowledge for older Process to other factories to enable the shutdown of Fab 5.
