As a System Administrator at the University of North Texas, I am responsible for the administration and support of technical services for the College of Health and Public Service. My role encompasses a wide array of duties including the implementation, maintenance, modifications, and interfaces to hardware, operating systems, and software. I provide critical support for infrastructure platforms and system-critical applications, ensuring seamless operation and reliability. In addition, I oversee the department's computing systems, which include both servers and workstations, maintaining optimal performance and security. My responsibilities also extend to assisting management with strategic analysis and planning for technology needs and solutions, ensuring that our department remains at the forefront of technological advancements. With a focus on both technical proficiency and strategic insight, I am dedicated to driving efficiency, enhancing system capabilities, and supporting the mission of the University of North Texas through robust and innovative technology solutions.I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of North Texas, awarded in May 2024. My professional journey is fueled by a deep-seated passion for computers, networking, and cybersecurity. I am credentialed with the CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, (ISC)2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), EC-Council Certified Network Defender (CND), and ServiceNow IT Leadership Professional certifications, demonstrating my understanding and proficiency in cybersecurity concepts, computer hardware, software, network security, security operations, troubleshooting, and leadership.
