Contracted with Mindsource to Apple's Ads Data Team. Focusing on Airflow and Kubernetes.

Responsible for all internal custom software systems and cloud infrastructure. Starting with recruiting and managing junior engineers and interns. Managing multiple projects using GitLab for source control, CI/CD pipeline, and work tracking system. Build and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow, GCS, Databricks, Google BigQuery, and Google Cloud Spanner to process market data from Bloomberg and other sources as well as asset and liability data. Build various APIs in Python/Flask to manipulate and transform the data in various ways in order to meet business needs. Take results from the APIs, as well as raw data, and show insight using Google Data Studio. Use Angular to interact with the APIs and data system to give business users the ability to efficiently manage 1.6 billion dollars in assets. Leveraging containerization for both development (VS Code and Docker Desktop) and production (Kubernetes). All while working with internal and external audit and compliance teams.In addition to the engineering and management duties I have also attended conferences representing Veta at a sales booth to both advisors and institutional clients.I am also an authorized trader for Veta to trade derivatives with our wall street counterparties.

Responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software systems, databases, and application integrations across the derivatives and investment portfolios. Work with derivatives trading and operations teams as well as collaborate with internal IT teams and external technology/software vendors for system implementations.
