Elected among by my peers in the CUW student body, my chief duty is facilitating SGA's efforts in the area of student affairs. I directly oversee our residential and commuter senators, liaison with various members of administration, and work on projects to help us better serve our students— the SGA newsletter, leading the food service committee, sitting on the student affairs committee, and anything else that comes up.

Office Of Residence Life

As a Resident Assistant (RA), I am one of the leaders in residence halls. Both myself, and the rest of the RA staff, must facilitate a community among residents through planning programs, visiting with residents, providing council when necessary, and other ways that are fit to the community. The job also includes enforcing the code of conduct among residents and confronting/documenting and violations.

Information Technology

This position is the first level of computer support for CUW faculty and staff members. My duties include responding to support incidents via the HelpSpot system and performing tasks as needed to complete them. HelpSpot requests will include (but are not limited to) computer setup and configuration, hardware and software troubleshooting, following inventory procedures, and some end user training. I am expected to be organized, have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the Windows operating system, and be comfortable learning new technology skills as required.

Office Of Continuing And Distance Education

As an Instructional Design Assistant, I helped develop courses for online learning, created training resources for faculty, and worked with the Office of Continuing and Distance Education (OCDE) staff to create a wide variety of learning tools and resources. Much of this was done through the ANGEL Learning Management System.

The software development Interns at Advicent Solutions worked in small teams tasked with creating web apps using the firm's platform. We utilized HTML, CSS, and Javascript mainly to build our projects.

Sheboygan, Wisconsin Area

Worked with a small team to collect orders throughout the two warehouses and stack pallets to load onto trucks. Job responsibilities included forklift operation, reading the load-sheets, and collecting cases of beer to stack in an ordered format. For this position, accuracy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment were required.
