My name is Trey Stuckey and for the last few years I've been studying Sports Media and Sports Marketing and Management. In the near future, I'd love to start a career in the sports industry in the media and marketing space. I've worked on both sides of industry through my time here at Indiana University. In Summer of 2022, I filled a marketing internship position through the athletics department at IU. During that time, I largely worked at our ticket booth for new student orientation creating a guided pitch and selling football and men's basketball tickets to incoming students and their parents. We did have some time in the office as well where I got to work on Excel researching and creating contact listings and addresses for high schools within Indiana for marketing to use for the future. We also got the opportunity to deliver merchandise to local businesses to promote upcoming seasons!I currently work in the Live Event Video Production space with Radio and Television Services at IU. Since August of 2023, I've gained a lot of experience and learned a vast variety of skills starting with regular camera movements such as pan, tilt, push, pull and truck. I have experience operating the score box; data driven and non data driven. I've spent considerable time in the instant replay center where I've learned the art of playing back videos live on broadcast and clipping those videos off to create highlight reels and full game melts. Beyond my work experience and in the classroom, I have direct experience working with the marketing team for the Triple A, Indianapolis Indians through my NIL Media Branding course. Our class of about thirty got split up into three groups of ten. Each group had to create a pitch to present to the marketing team to assist with their NIL(Name, Image, and Likeness) startup.
