Little did I know, or plan, In my past endeavors I was coincidentally gaining invaluable knowledge/experience within O&G (see experience) among many other industries. The exposure to various processes, procedures, mentor relationships, leadership positions, C-Suite styles, project scopes, etc. were gained via a plethora of companies. Included in the list are highly recognized public companies down to a 5 person team with everything in-between.Although being blessed with opportunities of continued education, career success, and working with excellent teams I always felt a piece from the puzzle was missing. I track various types of acreage within multiple status types through Enertia software specific application inputting lease obligations, depth limitation requirements, and other proprietary internal information. Our department is title heavy focusing on proper vesting documentation, assignment specific acquisitions/divestment input, and many other land specific nuances. I am consistently placed on autonomously directed special projects with rapid deadlines requiring high attention to detail covering diverse skill set knowledge. I am just as comfortable working a non-producing packet directly from a broker as I am rights (wellbore only, producing leasehold, ORRI with back-in at payout, etc.) through an assignment/divestiture, unworked files with minimal initial information, obtaining information to hold HBP acreage, units vs. stand-alone wells, and wide variety of tasks. I use a multitude of external tools such as Drilling Info, Pangaea, Oil-Law, BLM, Texas RRC, IHS Enerdeq, and many other softwares in order to obtain all support documents needed for analysis. I am currently a team member providing beta testing for a new internal contract module in order to digitally streamline appropriate documents.
