I have experience in a breadth of work settings; therefore, the skills I have acquired surpass niche classification. I started my journey as a waitress at Waffle House who volunteered as a teacher's aid at an elementary school. I worked with second graders, as well as with a class for children with special learning needs. I learned that patience, non-linear approaches to a goal, and encouragement were needed for advancement. These skills developed over time to leading everything I do, professionally and personally, with compassion and empathy. Through my years at Pandora, Old Navy, Kohl's, and Target - I learned business plans were flexible and can be improvised based on unexpected challenges. While my experiences at The Learning Tree, Jefferson-Blount- St. Clair Mental Health Authority, Alabama Clinical Schools, Community Friendship Inc., and Grandview Hospital taught me the human condition is uniquely known and unknown simultaneously. These lessons, working hand in hand, created my ability to read situations and adjust accordingly; furthermore, they created a work ethic of distinct, yet realistic, solutions to otherwise demanding situations.
