My job is to make the marketing team's job of aggressively promoting Convercent much easier. I inherited a base site with performance issues and was tasked with addressing page speed and usability - as well as building out a blog, interview section, resource library, product demo area and subsites. Our site is highly customized with re-usable modules, landing page templates and Marketo form integration. We've recently added another web property - ConvergeCommunity - that allows the compliance community to share ideas and challenges, as well as access additional resources. This site is event-centric and includes forums, groups, private messaging and member-only views.

Through this position, I had the opportunity to work with a fun team in an agile environment – and really took my skills to the next level. I worked on a variety of projects for both company and client interfaces, with my primary skills being HTML5, CSS, jQuery and some PHP. Primary tools used included Adobe Photoshop, NetBeans, Firefox Developer Tools, SVN and Fisheye.

As a Junior Web Developer, I built sites from the “ground up” including Photoshop and Fireworks design, W3C compliant HTML/CSS coding, and development of copy and integrated material – all with an emphasis on search engine friendliness (SEF). Additional skills included social media customization and integration.
