Throughout my 6-year tenure—and through an additional 3 years in development with LifeCare Alliance—I mastered the art of constructing results-generating development strategies, researching prospects, securing new donors, and activating diverse fundraising channels to achieve multimillion-dollar annual development objectives.★ ★ ★Moving into public agency program administration in 2014 with the Ohio Department of Education—now the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce—I played a vital role in the administration of $800M in federal child nutrition funding. Here, it was my role to ensure 1,500 schools and 5,000 organizations statewide complied with nonnegotiable funding requirements, while concurrently promoting child nutrition programs to optimize adoption and access. Navigating a highly complex funding environment, I leveraged audit results to identify risks, initiate corrective actions, and inform the training of my 20+-member team. Based on my relationship with one of our key vendors, I was recruited to join what became LINQ, as their Senior Training and Client Support Manager.★ ★ ★In this last position, I stepped into a brand new arena and was charged with building a best-in-class customer support organization for this national K-12 education administration software company. Based on my expertise on state and federal regulations, I ‘stood up’ what was, in essence, a customer success organization, defining the processes and practices vital to supporting federal child nutrition programs deployed across 46 state agencies in 38 states. Surpassing an aggressive customer satisfaction goal, I—and the team of 10 I hired, trained, and coached—continually advocated for our customers, evangelized continuous improvement opportunities, and overcame significant challenges and change management directives.
