About Cassandra Ward

Ms. Ward is an experienced litigator with well over a decade of experience. A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, cum laude, in 2011, she dedicated the first part of her career to public service. Working at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, she served our county’s most vulnerable populations. Her experience is varied and far reaching, including educational law, guardianships, juvenile dependency and delinquency proceedings, disability advocacy, and probate. As the founder and managing partner of Trident Law Firm PLLC, Ms. Ward strives to make every estate plan simple for her clients. She enjoys getting to know her clients, and working with them to develop an estate plan that works for their unique needs. Cassandra believes the best estate plan not only accomplishes her clients wishes, but makes it easy for her clients’ loved ones to administer their estates when the time comes. With her solo practice, Cassandra appreciates the freedom to collaborate with her clients to achieve the best possible results without the constraints common to practicing in larger firms. She’s passionate about personally corresponding with her clients to ensure they understand every step of the legal process. Ms. Ward is actively involved in her community, she is a member of the Palm Beach Bar Association, the Craig S. Barnard Inns of Court, the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, the Women in Business Council Mentorship Academy, and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.During her tenure at Legal Aid, her project, the Foster Children’s Project won both local and national recognition. In 2021, the National Association of Counsel for Children awarded the Foster Children’s Project the Outstanding Children’s Law Office. In 2023, Florida’s Children’s First awarded the Foster Children’s Project and Juvenile Advocacy Project the Outstanding Champion for Children award.
