Corporate Energy Services (CES) provides commercial electrical and water maintenance solutions to government and private-sector organisations. The sister company Bennelong Energy Services (BES) is proud to be associated with the NRL and its schools for work program to support and mentor young Indigenous Australian men & women into the world of electrical and security accreditations and apprenticeships.

My role was to provide small to medium sized businesses with a complete outsourced accounting function. The month end management accounting and reporting function is what drove my passion as I enjoyed discussing the numbers with business owners and management who weren't involved in the day-to-day accounts. The translation of numbers into a high level management overview was the end result that I worked to achieve while incorporating the business strategy and providing recommendations and advice to business owners.

Brisbane Sporting Car Club is a not-for-profit organisation that primarily organises Off-Road and Rally events, including the major annual International Rally of Queensland held at the Sunshine Coast.My primary focus is the Company's secretarial duties including attending and minuting Board Meetings. I worked closely with the President in documenting all incoming and outgoing correspondence to create a transparent audit trail.Furthermore I had the opportunity to incorporate my accounting skills and knowledge into the management and financial operations of the Club. I undertook month-end review and analysis of key financial reports so as to assist the Treasurer and President in discussions with the Board at monthly meetings.

A M Giles & Co is a small firm based in Spring Hill consisting of 2 partners and 8 employees.My responsibilities and accomplishments primarily involved tax and compliance work for group structures (i.e. a family company, trust and two individuals). The scope of work undertaken varied from monthly to quarterly activity statements and bookkeeping, and then onto year-end accounting and tax effect, producing of Financial Statements and completion of Income Tax Returns.

My responsibilities included: - Preparation of quarterly management reports and analysis; - Preparation of annual financial statements for trusts, companies and sole traders - Tax compliance including: - Quarterly and monthly activity statements - Annual tax returnsThe above duties were prepared for the family structures of companies, trusts and individuals.
