Siemens is contracted by CAMC to provide all IT support for the hospital system. I was recruited by Siemens from CAMC to become the Team Lead, for the Ancillary Team, and the main analyst to provide support for the SoftLab/Mic application. In 1999 CAMC made the decision to replace their current LIS from CHC to SCC SoftLab/Mic. At this time I was asked to lead the project.
