How did I get here? When I was a kid, the library was my very favorite place to be. The book collection seemed endless and amazing. And the librarians were really interested and immensely helpful. They taught me to love the discovery process. Getting my MSLIS was a natural extension of doing the things I love. I became an information professional so I could share my enjoyment of navigating collections of information.Since receiving my degree in information science in 2000 I have managed a political archives, a cemetery archives, a church archives, a collection of 19th century images and an automotive research collection. I've also enjoyed working as a librarian at two different graduate schools. In the future, I hope for an opportunity to be involved in the records management aspect of archival work.Passions and Goals: I am passionate about the process of organizing, preserving and sharing the books, documents and artifacts that document human social history. I am zealous about education of all types and levels. I am determined to make sure my colleagues, my patrons and the organizations I'm affiliated with succeed. I am resolute in my commitment to craft an interesting life by creating interesting days.
