But the public policy cycle is complex, the issues are talked about in jargon laden language, and let's admit it - it's a little bit boring! So, how do we get the public's opinion, especially from all demographics? By playing games on public policy issues!We build and scale games, simulations and tools for inclusive, relevant and effective public policy, and get them into the hands of diverse stakeholders - from policy makers, to development leaders, funders and investors, active citizens and on-ground communities.

Imagine learning public policy by playing games!In Polity - Asia's first experiential public policy course, we learn how to make appropriate climate change policy, gender equity policy, inclusive development policies through games and simulations! In Polity, you experience the life of a waste collector, a garment factory worker, to form appropriate policies that actually respond to their needs. You plan the water resources of a city, or design your own city from scratch(!) on systems dynamic tech models, and the predictive model, trained on real world data, tells you the impact of your decisions 5 , 10, 20 years later.I'm so excited to be leading Polity, and I truly believe it is going to usher in a new future of improved, appropriate and inclusive policy making in India.

· Founded Kranti, a shelter home for daughters of sex workers educating and empowering them to become agents of social change. · As the founder, got my hands dirty with everything from legally registering the Trust, applying for Tax Exempt status, prepared all financial statements and fund-raised over US$ 500,000.· Networked and partnered with 24 organisations from around the world, to provide various kinds of services and opportunities to the girls we worked with, from psychological therapy, to quality education, speaking opportunities and leadership training.· Lived with and played full time parent to over 20 girls living in Kranti’s shelter home.· Curate opportunities for the girls to grow as social changemakers by partnering with organisations, and mentoring the girls one-on-one.
