In the Center for Design Research, I work under Knight-Hennessy scholar Aya Mouallem - improving the UX of an educational tool for blind and visually-impaired electrical engineering students. Communicated research through posters at the ME SURI fair and Stanford SURPS. Supported by the VPUE STEM Fellowship.

In the Theater and Performance Studies' department scene shop, I utilize woodworking and power tools to physically construct professional lighting and scenic designs for full-scale stages.

With research support from the Department of Urban Studies, I assisted Dr. Lochlann Jain with his project artistically depicting the history of drowning - utilizing rapid wood prototyping, model lighting design, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and laser cutting/engraving techniques.

Telling stories through light and collaborative art!

With mentorship from PI Theo Roth, I constructed new gene plasmids to optimize chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) expression in immune T-Cells. I performed DNA laboratory techniques (PCR, electroporation/purification, CRISPR electroporation) and crafted a cancer co-culture assay - ultimately seeing improved efficacy in killing cancer cells through new genetic biodesign.

Pampanga, Central Luzon, Philippines

Mentored high-school students and supported operations of a free clinic in the Philippines. Ideated, constructed, and delivered an in-depth feedback survey to interns and visiting students, delivering a suggested curriculum and actionable feedback to nonprofit staff. Supported as a Rising Bird Fellow (previously called CareerEd Fellow).
