As the Aquatics Supervisor at Strawberry Recreation District (SRD), I apply my passion for swimming and hospitality to create an enjoyable environment for my community. I manage the safety and operations of four pools, oversee up to 35 staff members, and coordinate up to 50 swim lessons a week. I have contributed to the company's revenue by creating a year-round swim lesson schedule, adding new adult fitness programs, and teaching multiple CPR/AED/First Aid lifeguard courses a year.I graduated from Hendrix College with a Bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2022, and I also completed four years of collegiate swimming. As a student athlete, I earned a position on the dean's list, was selected as the most valuable swimmer three years in a row, and received the overall most valuable athlete award in 2019. I have a strong background in working with children of all ages and abilities, as I previously worked with Pediatrics Plus in organizing programs for families with children with special needs. I also have experience in fundraising and marketing, as I worked in that department at Pediatrics Plus. I enjoy teaching the life-saving and life skill of swimming, educating parents on safety in and out of the water, and working with a diverse and dedicated team at SRD.
