I have been a competitive swimmer for 10 years which developed my resilience, discipline and motivation to thrive forward, towards the end of my swimming career I went through a spinal fusion surgery and through my perseverance, I manage to represent my country twice at the SEA Age Championship before I called it quits due to potential complication with my back. I had my first job experience at 17 years old as a barista at Starbucks and this experience improved my customer service skills and communication skills. Currently, I’m a swimming coach that teaches kids how to swim and this has improved my leadership skills to guide kids towards achieving their swimming goals as well as my organization and planning skills whereby I have to effectively come up with a swimming plan and manage swimming resources properly so that my kids are learning efficiently . Through my secondary school years, I have helped out in volunteering work as well as to lead the program in collaboration with the Fei Yue Organisation which had developed my leadership skills and communication skills. Additionally, I have done school performances in school as an emcee which developed my passion for public speaking and engaging effectively with the audience. Lastly, through my school projects, I developed a passion for editing of videos and school work which led many of my teachers and peers to enjoy and appreciate my work. I have a passion for videography, photography and public speaking. I bring a unique mixture of excellent leadership, communication skills, resilience and empathy which can contribute well to your organisation
