I worked as a rod man with a surveyor in the field. I was responsible for the setup and use of all our surveying equipment as well as staking and marking points for each job. I loved this job and enjoyed the experience. Every job site was different and you had to be prepared to learn new things everyday. I became pregnant while working here, once I got further along and field work became more difficult I was transferred to the office and learned how to calculate jobs using CAD. My daily tasks included calculating building plans, client communications, field crew communications, research and data entry for each job, payroll, job scheduling, answering client questions through phone and email, general front office duties, ect. I only had to leave this job because the commute became to much.

I handled everything frim setting up new accounts and services, taking payments and sorting out billing issues, adding or removing features, trouble shooting issues and scheduling tech visits when needed. This was a very fast paced environment and it was great working with my team to meet goals.

As a store manager I handled every aspect of keeping the store running from payroll, supply orders, inventory, hiring/ firing, organizing community events, training employees to meet company goals, building maintenance, and handling theft issues. I moved 2 hours away to be placed in a struggling store and spent the agreed upon 6 months working to get it back on it's feet. By the time I left my store had risen from the bottom rankings for the region to consistently place in the top ten. It was a challenging and rewarding experience.
