Performing CFD analysis for optimizing airfoil.

Helped undergraduate students in mathematics. The classes I tutored in included, but not limited to, college algebra and geometry, probability and statistics, calculus 1 and 2, vector calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, discrete math, graph theory, and abstract algebra.

I was inducted into the Ocean Remote Sensing group, where I worked under Dr. Raphe Kudela and Mariam Ayad from UC Santa Cruz. Using remote sensing satellite data, I was able to perform research on the effects of volcanic ash deposition on Marine Primary Productivity. My project was entitled Beauty from (Volcanic) Ashes: Analyzing the Effects of Volcanic Ash Deposition on Phytoplankton Blooms During the Late 2012 North Pagan Eruption. I used MODIS-AQUA satellite data to get results on my four physical parameters- aerosol optical thickness, chlorophyll-a, particulate organic carbon, and iron using a bio-optical proxy. This experience introduced me to coding on Python, SNAP (imaging processing application), R commander, and ArcGIS.

Worked under Dennis Davenport from Howard University and three other Howard students on Production Matrices of Double Riordan Arrays. We discussed two types of production matrices. One having one z-sequence and two a-sequences, addressed as He construction. The other has two z-sequences and one a-sequence and was developed by SPIRAL 2020. There are combinatorial applications to the production matrices as well. I learned how to write a paper, make a poster, and create a PowerPoint using LaTex.
