As a freshman Chemical Engineering student at North Carolina A&T State University, my journey into STEM began in high school, where I was the only girl in my engineering class. This experience sparked my passion for challenging stereotypes and advocating for women in engineering. Overcoming skepticism and embracing opportunities to lead, such as volunteering as a student teacher at an all-girls STEM camp, reinforced my desire to inspire more girls to pursue STEM careers. Now, I’m focused on applying my engineering knowledge to the beauty industry, aiming to develop innovative, safe, and inclusive cosmetic products. I’m committed to redefining the role of women in STEM, driving positive change, and breaking barriers in both engineering and the beauty industry.Expertise- Chemical Engineering Principles- Cosmetic Formulation & Product Development- STEM Education & Advocacy- Leadership & Teamwork- Problem-Solving & Creative Solutions- 3D Printing, Coding, and Engineering Design Process- Data Analysis & Technical Software (AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Excel)
