As a Behavior Analyst Intern at Success on the Spectrum, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I work to implement Applied Behavioral Analysis programs that focus on decreasing maladaptive behaviors and increasing social, communication, and adaptive skills with preschool/school-aged children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As an RBT at Autism Response Team, I implemented various scientifically based methodologies following the Behavior Intervention Plan including Pivotal Response Training, Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-Handicapped Children, Picture Exchange Communication System, Discrete Trail Training, and Social Skills Training. Additionally, I observed and recorded client behavior and responses to the Behavior Intervention Plan through several forms of data taking including interval recording, learn units, antecedent-behavior-consequence, and daily session notes.
