I have my Open Water Diver Scuba Certification and will be taking more classes soonI am currently learning French at an Intermediate lvlCPR Certification- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (June 2024)NSC First Aid (June 2024)AED Certification- Automated External Defibrillator (June 2024)Currently, I hold the position of Media Preparation and Fill Lab at Phibro Animal Health Corporation, where I am responsible for operating autoclaves, meticulously documenting procedures, and employing sterile and aseptic sampling techniques. Furthermore, I am actively engaged in cross-training across various functional areas to broaden my skill set and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.Previously, I dedicated four years to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a Lab Preparation Assistant, where I gained valuable experience working with microscopes, dissection scops, fume hoods, and cultures. Additionally, I developed expertise in plant care and the maintenance of laboratory animals, including geckos, snakes, salt/freshwater fish, turtles, salamanders, spiders, and ducks. I diligently adhered to IACUC protocols for record-keeping, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare and research compliance.Concurrently, I held the role of Student Manager at the East Campus Dining Hall, where I collaborated closely with supervisors to address guest concerns and uphold a positive work environment. In this capacity, I successfully led and motivated a team of student workers to achieve daily operational objectives, showcasing my ability to manage personnel and drive toward collective goals.During a transformative academic experience, I had the privilege of studying abroad in Namibia, where I gained invaluable insight into the intricate relationship between local communities and wildlife. immersed in this environment, I not only expanded my cultural awareness but also deepened my understanding of how human activities can profoundly impact and shape the lives of diverse animal species. This immersive experience broadened my global perspective and instilled in me a profound appreciation for the intersection of human society and the natural world.
