I am a professional songwriter, advocate, and educator with a passion for teaching the art of collaboration and self-led learning styles across different fields. I’ve worked as a music educator for over 6 years, and in my time as a teacher I've had a bakers dozen of students with songs on the Grammy ballots, as well as several songs selected for TV and movie catalogs. In my own career as a songwriter I have over a dozen cuts, with multiple songs on the grammy ballots, and many live shows as a performance artist behind my belt. I've been coaching and mentoring young professionals in performance, songwriting, co-writing (with an emphasis on group collaboration and relationship management), event planning, booking, music business, artist development, vocal production, composition, and how to run a show as a one man band, for almost as long as I've been doing it in my own career. I believe in every individuals potential to be their own best teacher, and my place as an educator is simply to be a conduit to sharpen my client’s technique, while focusing their attention on honing the skills that will allow them to materialize their own unique vision and achieve self-actualization in every endeavor (without wasting time on things that won't.)I have experience working with Non-Profit Organizations as an independent contractor providing services in Event Planning, Event Organization, Fundraising, Website Development, Client Relations, Customer Support, and Team Management. I believe I'm uniquely equipped to help people foster their professional and musical goals (regardless of age, identity, or background) due to my lived experience as a self taught, self employed music professional working behind the scenes in the many different industries, as well as my personal adversities as a Disabled, LGBTQ+ creator navigating the work force in a remote working world.
