As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, provided project management leadership and direction for a New Zealand e-commerce company known for selling books, movies, and music with a catalogue of over 25 million products. Duties include managing staff members for specific projects day to day, and delivering large local and remote projects which have involved expansion into five cross-border marketplaces resulting in millions of additional revenue. Fishpond.com was a subsidiary of WorldFront.

Brought on board to project manage customer implementations of Laserfiche, a document management system. Managed system upgrades and new system implementation projects of varying value and budgets. Provided additional support as a Laserfiche and Kofax specialist, where I developed system training for clients, and coordinated local installations and post-project delivery service. Gathered requirements for solutions from stakeholders to identify and document business process needs; verified customer expectations before implementation of the solution to specified requirements.

Assumed full responsibility and managed customised cloud system setup projects (desktop, internal servers, internal network, etc.), spearheaded end-to-end customer implementation, project-team management of up to 15, P&L, and reporting. Managed client expectations in cooperation with their functional teams and executive-level management, and made certain the necessary specifications were gathered and agreed upon as part of the transfer from their existing platform to Alpha Actual’s cloud environment. Undertook documentation of the entire migration via partnership with various colleagues within the client companies. Trained involved personnel on the new cloud systems, and provided customised training material for their specific implementations.

 Designed and Performed ExperimentsAssisted Lab Principal Investigator in designing and performing experiments to test for the effects of Contortrostatin, a rattle snake venom protein. Experiments range from assaying protein activity through gels, West Blot, BSA Assay, and cell proliferation assays to determine protein effectiveness on human breast and ovarian cancer cells. Maintained and Coordinated Tissue CultureTracked and cultured breast and ovarian cancer cell strains. Maintained detailed records of tissue cultures and experiment result on cell cycle. Peer Review ResearchAssembled relevant knowledge by researching associated journal articles using PubMed and the USC Keck Medical School library.
