I describe myself as being goal-driven, detail-oriented, and empathetic. I am eager to become a counseling psychologist specializing in Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I previously worked as a student tutor at NOVA. These positions require me to work onsite with students needing assistance with assignments. During this position, it helped me grow my communication and connection skills while working with students.Previously, I was an Intern at the George Mason Center for Community Mental Health where I worked at the protocol office. In this position, I Assisted in completing material requests for clinicians, including providing test kits and other relevant materials for appointments, emailing staff, and clinicians, greeting clients and answering needs questions, closing clients’ files, helping clinicians with exposure therapy, and accepting and sending outgoing mail. I also helped organize the Fall 2023 orientation for interns, assisted new interns with tasks, and assisted with counting inventory. I am also trained to fulfill scoring requests for clinicians for assessments. Trained to score for DEKEFS, NEPRSY II, BRIEF-2, SCARED BRIEF, WAIS-IV, WAIS-V, CAARS, and CARS 2I also previously did research coding with Dr. Natasha Tonges, Reddit Social Support: Scoring and Coding Research. In this, I did Research coding by Reading and coding Reddit posts. I had to review and rate Reddit posts based on psychological relevance and understanding, how much support they had, and the state of the problem (i.e., familial, emotions, etc.)
