About Trinity Webster
My name is Trinity Webster and I am from Southern California where I graduated from University of California San Diego with a degree in Biology. As a medical student, I have taken on many leadership roles: Class Board secretary, Students Advising Students leader, Student Review Panel leader, tutor with the Academic Center for Excellence, and Vice President for the Infectious Disease Interest Group. Throughout medical school, I have also been a medical student intern and research assistant at Health Frontiers in Tijuana (HFiT), an underserved free clinic at the US-Mexico border. I was a volunteer and executive board member at HFiT during undergrad and it has been a pivotal organization and patient population in my medical journey.I aspire to work with disadvantaged populations to improve their health by working in a primary care setting focused on education and preventative care. My interests are: women's health, global health, weight loss management, HIV care, and LGBTQ healthcare. Outside of academia, I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, sewing, hiking, and dirtbiking in the desert!

Small Group Representative
Class Board Secretary
Ensure effective communication within the organization’s leadership by maintaining records, meeting notes, and deadlines. Formalized our transition to a communication platform called Slack, which streamlines our communication as a class as well as improves transparency. Create a newsletter every week to notify the class of 2025 about important deadlines, resources, and to collect class feedback. Work alongside admin and other class boards to provide information to the rest of the class of 2025 to address questions, concerns, and advocate on behalf of the class to the administration.
Small Group Representative
Volunteered to be the representative of both my PCM1 and PCM2 course small group. With this role, I attend bi-monthly meetings to gather information on upcoming requirements in the PCM course and then relay the information in a cohesive and clear way to my group. I also communicate concerns from our group members to our supervisors to develop channels for feedback and improved course feedback sessions. Additionally, I schedule one on one meetings between our supervisors and individual students to go over individual feedback.

Student Review Panels are a group of students that review feedback from students on a course and summarize the info into a document whcih they present to the course directors for future alterations to the course. As a coordinator, I gathered student interest in being on the SRP committee from academic offices, course coordinators, as well as student volunteers. I also organized meetings between the group of students and with the course directors and course administrators involved with the course. We reviewed course feedback provided by the students who took the course and summarized it in a document overviewing the strengths, weaknesses, and areas of growth of the course. Finally, I presented the finalized document to the course director and course administrator to demonstrate to them the positives, negatives, and constructive feedback to demonstrate areas for course improvement.
Infectious Disease Interest Group Vice President
In my role, I communicate with infectious disease physicians to establish list with contact information to allow for student shadowing opportunities. I also created a shared drive between board members to facilitate organization and communication. I work with other Board members to contribute to event planning, talks, and shadowing opportunities.
