Greetings! I'm on a journey as a Human Factors Psychology student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and my passion lies in unraveling the intricacies of user behavior. With an eye for detail and a robust academic background, I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Factors Psychology, with a GPA of 3.00/4.00.Throughout my academic endeavors, I've been immersed in impactful projects that showcase my commitment to understanding and enhancing user experiences. One notable project, "Enhancing Workplace Wellbeing," allowed me to spearhead a workspace redesign initiative, focusing on the alleviation of stress through organization and ergonomic solutions. This experience not only honed my practical skills but also instilled in me the importance of creating spaces that promote both productivity and employee well-being.In a collaborative effort with a group of talented individuals, we addressed the challenges of autonomous vehicle navigation at pedestrian intersections. Our project proposed a comprehensive solution integrating AI vision cameras, LED message boards, adaptive tone signaling, and a computerized voice to enhance communication. Emphasizing safety and accessibility, our design aimed to streamline interactions between pedestrians and autonomous vehicles.Beyond academics, I wear multiple hats at DME Academy in Daytona Beach, FL. As the Head Volleyball Coach, I develop and implement structured practice plans, fostering a collaborative and motivated environment for athletes' skill development. Simultaneously, in my role in Sports Operations, I plan and execute events, manage game scheduling, oversee officiating processes, and enhance overall fan experiences.Professionally, I am skilled in research software like Descript and SPSS, as well as proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Medical Manager.Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I actively contribute to the Black Student Association, Embry Riddle Volleyball Team, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I'm honored to have received the ERAU Presidential Scholarship, Brennan Scholarship (2020-2022), ERAU Dean’s List (Fall 2022), and Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll (2020-2023).I'm excited about the prospect of bringing my unique blend of academic knowledge, practical experience, and leadership skills to a role as a User Researcher.
