Roles and Responsibilities (Rewards Team)-Taking care of accounting and support preparation of Card Member Returns and prepaid process in Rewards team for US region.Performing Accounting and Reconciliation process in Rewards team for Co-brand partners for all regions.Performing Variance Analysis, Research and Clearance and Adjustment Accounting between the redemption and the payments for all AMEX business Co-brand partners.Performing Accounting and reconciliation of companies Accounts in Rewards team at partner and market level for all regions.Preparing write-off/back dashboard analysis and sharing it with key stakeholders.Regularly voice call with AMEX business partner managers. Month end journals (Accrual Booking, Redemption booking, Adjustments). Responsible for reconciling Balance Sheet Accounts covering all major account types.Responsible for Analysing & Reporting the Balance Sheet Accounts through Financial Analysis of the ProjectionsSME in Sub-ledger reconciliations.Handling various audits & reviews with both internal & external auditors including controllership teamPreparing analytics regarding various reconciliation metrics & sharing with the leadership.Preparing & sharing analytics on high value accounts with respective stakeholders.Analysing variance in General Ledger & Sub-ledger and having monthly calls with the concerned team for the clearance of open items.Monitoring and reviewing the accounts reconciled by team to ensure the correct reconciliations and to avoid any error to be captured at the time of Audit by internal and external auditors.Preparation of critical dashboards ranging from Regional Controllership Decks, Process Efficiency Decks, Metrics (Input & Output Delays), Clearance Metrics Data.Supporting leader during month close.
