As the SVP and Chief Digital and Technology Officer at TGI Fridays, the CIO at Benchmark Brands, and the VP of IT and The Wendys’ Company, I’ve seen it all. I've helped these businesses think about the future, I’ve lived through the pressure to keep up, get ahead, and stay ahead. Sure, leading the digital transformation of some of the world’s largest restaurants proves me an invaluable asset in our ever evolving industry, but there's also more to it. Yes, I am a technology and business professional, but I am also a people person who genuinely wants to help you stay ahead.     Recruited to lead the turnaround of the Information Technology team at Fridays, reporting jointly to the President and CFO, promoted in June of 2015 to build a digital/eCommerce practice in addition to the CIO responsibilities. Key Achievements:  Architected an org structure to support a 90%/10% franchised business model and executed a plan to reduce headcount related G&A by 33% utilizing outsourced resources in India and Manila Crafted and executed a 24 month plan to reduce non store IT spend from $16.6 million to $11.6 Million fueled by completing a cloud transformation. Architected and executed a plan to redesign the POS user interface and implement it on consumer grade tablet technology that drove 1.6% revenue increase for every restaurant. Developed a business plan for a digital business securing $5 million in funding to enhance both the customer experience and improved operational capability

    Recruited to lead the turnaround of the information technology and ecommerce operations teams at Benchmark Brands, reported to the CEO and served as a member of the senior executive team. Responsible for all aspects of information technology and ecommerce operations. Responsible for daily operations and strategic planning for www.Footsmart.com, a $120 million revenue web property. Provided technology systems and support for a $50 million call center operation. Managed a $10.5 million annual G&A budget, a $6.5 million project budget, and a staff of 50 full time employees and contractors. Key Achievements: • Developed an organizational model and staffing plan to rebuild the team, including consolidating functions from across the organization• Recruited and hired 43 employees and contractors within one year reducing turnover to under 10% annually• Led the effort to identify and remediate information security gaps and become PCI compliant• Designed and developed an appropriate project management methodology including scrum and waterfall components, resulting in timely project delivery• Overhauled the www.footsmart.com taxonomy and implemented the Endeca site search and navigation tool• Implemented the Endeca page builder tool, allowing business users to update the site and reducing maintenance development by 40 hours per week.• Led the effort to identify and remediate key gaps in the company’s technology infrastructure allowing the ecommerce business to achieve it’s first $1 million dollar sales day• Selected, purchased, and initiated development of the Hybris Commerce platform

    Recruited to Arby’s to lead restaurant technology efforts of the Arby’s brand. Promoted to Vice President upon completion of the merger to lead the restaurant technology team for 2400+ retail outlets managing a $6.5 million annual G&A budget, a $25 million project budget, and a staff of 80 full time employees and contractors. Responsible for leading the transition and integration efforts for the two brands restaurant technology. Selected by the executive team to lead the information technology divestiture of the Arby’s Brand.Key Achievements: • Rationalized and consolidated all restaurant technical operations for both the Wendy’s and Arby’s brands, selecting and building a new team for the organization• Restructured Help Desk operations, improving first call resolution by 20 percentage points, and improving overall satisfaction in both brands• Achieved Level 1 PCI compliance for both brands and led development of a plan to combine the annual PCI compliance efforts• Selected and initiated deployment of new Point of Sale and inventory/labor management solution that improved gross profit margins by $9 million annually for the Arby’s brand with enhanced controls and operational efficiency improvements• Successfully led the technology project to divest the Arby’s Brand, meeting all key milestones and dates within 150 days of the sale
