I am a self-motivated Manager with extensive experience across a wide range of industries and roles. Currently I am working as a PMO Manager, delivering a portfolio of projects to support the company’s strategic goals in the Superannuation sector. I have been managing projects since 2008, using PMBOK, Prince2 and Agile methodologies. In my previous role as a Senior Project Manager, I led teams, managed, prioritized and scheduled a variety of client and business initiatives. This included revenue generating work as well as internal strategic work. Prior to this, my experience was in IT management, managing both technical support and applications teams with responsibility for the delivery of major IT projects, day to day services, problem resolution and consultancy services.Having worked in both IT and Business environments, I have developed the ability to adapt communication techniques to suit the needs of different individuals or groups. I have a sound understanding of both business and IT fundamentals.I have worked within organisations that have international offices as well as offshore development teams so I am comfortable managing and working with teams remotely and in different time zones. My results driven attitude, commitment to providing a better team and customer experience as well as personal demand for quality and performance has led to significantly better outcomes for customers looking to initiate change, and a sense of satisfaction for team members.I achieve results by taking ownership as well as possessing the ability to address complex issues calmly and by thinking strategically. I approach conflicting challenges with a proactive attitude, while still managing to set expectations that are realistic and deliverable.I thrive in roles that challenge me and allow me to strategise as well as put forward ideas.
