Seeking a change from the corporate world and with a desire to help people cope with the stresses of modern living, I trained to became a massage therapist over a decade ago, following a career in hospitality and events. I have a diploma of remedial massage, as well as specialised training in a number of modalities including: myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, ancient stone therapy, pregnancy massage, oncology massage and ayurvedic spa treatments. I currently run my own business alongside a group of therapists in Newtown.

My role was to manage the marketing of the consumer orientated exhibitions run by Expertise Events. Broad range of responsibilities included copywriting, print production, database management, advertising and PR.

I was responsible for managing the Public Relations Department of the Sydney Hilton, endeavouring to obtain the best possible exposure for the Hotel by way of advertising, promotion and PR opportunities.Prior to that I had the role of Marketing Executive for Hilton International Hotels of Australia for approximately two and a half years. In this role I was responsible for coordinating the marketing and sales promotional activities of Hilton International Australia, including the production of marketing materials, liasing with ad agencies, and implementation and production of loyalty programs
