Rolls Royce has three Finance Service Centres (FSC) - UK, North America and Singapore. Most of Rolls Royce's transactional processing is performed within one of these FSC's. I manage the interface for the service delivery between the Civil Aerospace / Gas Turbine Service business and the global FSC’s. Responsibilities include agreeing Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), with the Finance Directors and monthly presentation of the actual performance. 20% of time is spent on routine month to month activities. 40% of time is spent resolving problems and queries and implementing process improvement based on this. 30% of work involves the programme management of business migrations into the FSC. Currently, I am responsible for three major. In addition, there are a number of smaller task migrations from the business to the FSC due to the adoption of a new finance model. It is my responsibility to identify and facilitate these migrations and agree the charge for the service.Ad hoc duties include (10% of time) staff development, professional boarding’s, preparing technical update for finance analysts, external audit interface for government levy charges and agreement of FSC Business Continuity Plan with Rolls Royce businesses.
