Development Project Manager
CurrentClient-side project manager on large-scale urban redevelopment projects.Current Project:- Melbourne Metro Oversite DevelopmentKey responsibilities- Assist the Development Manager in preparing the Design Brief in response to the aims and objectives of the Development Brief. Work with the Development Manager during the life of project to ensure these objectives are met.- Procure and appoint design consultants. Create and manage consultant services agreements and ensure design deliverables and design budgets are met.- Manage the design on a day to day basis as the Principal's representative by facilitating design meetings, coordination meetings and ensure design is developed according to design brief, design and quality standards, statutory requirements, cost plan and time restraints whilst maximising opportunities for value creation.- Organising specialist peer reviews .- Assist Development Manager to prepare Planning Application and achieve Planning approval through the design response.- Manage day to day interface with Builder as the Principal's Representative throughout procurement and delivery stages including engagement of Builder for buildability advice.- Project change management to capture scope and design changes. Work with Development Manager to ensure change are aligned with development and product expectations.- Project risk management through regular review and audits.- Work with Cost Planner to realise cost and value-add opportunities.- Work with the Infrastructure Development Manager to achieve coordinated interface with public realm.
