Latitudes is the seasonal, waterfront restaurant at the historic Wentworth by the Sea Resort and Spa.

As a part of our senior capstone class, Advanced Food and Beverage, I was in charge of managing my team of Front of House Managers, Chief Financial Officers, Human Resources, Marketing Managers, Decor & Logistics Managers, etc. We worked with a real budget and real vendors to put on this weekend-long event. We also designed and came up with the menu and the Back of House Managers assembled a team and prepared all the food (100+ covers all three days of the event). This event simulated real world experiences and situations and was extremely beneficial.

Trained all new hostess employees, coordinated all aspects of Front of the House service, resolved customer complaints and questions on a daily basis, handled all phone calls. Was also with the owners when they expanded and opened a much larger restaurant. Great learning experience at the high school/ undergrad age.

Assisting all aspects of the property including Event Planning, Retail, Marketing, Front of the House, E-Commerce, Operations, and Delivery Assistant. The Loveless is a 9 acre facility in Nashville, Tennessee specializing in Southern Hospitality and customer service. I was an intern here for 6 weeks and worked across property to learn all the different aspects it takes to run a successful, internationally recognized business.

Refilling all drinks and ice-machines in cafeteria while interacting with guests and students. Also, cleaning and sanitizing my station at the end of the night. Co-workers ranged in diversity and presented a good growing experience along the way.
