I ensure the completion of environmental service learning projects and field trips to a wide array of students and educators across Los Angeles County. I conduct environmental presentations, projects, workshops, and activities for teachers, school administration, faculty, and students. The projects are intended to bring awareness and educate attendees on water-issues that plague Los Angeles County. In return, I provide students and educators with the necessary tools to take collective action and empower them to create greener and cleaner campuses.

I conducted outreach and engagement in the Skid Row community. During outreach, I provided a combination of direct services, crisis interventions, and basic necessities to unhoused and chronically homeless women. I engaged participants in problem-solving conversations, housing stability plans, explored personal resources, and provided financial assistance in order to resolve their episode of homelessness. I utilized the HMIS database to complete housing referrals, create client notes, and ensure all participants were successfully enrolled in complete services for up to 90 days. I employed a client-centered approach and trauma-informed lens with every interaction to ensure quality care and service.

Santa Cruz, California, United States

As a Project Coordinator at the Queer Youth Task Force of Santa Cruz County, I was responsible for coordinating and leading a variety of initiatives aimed at supporting LGBTQ+ youth and their families. This role included organizing and facilitating bilingual workshops for students and parents, promoting and coordinating summits and community events, and fostering partnerships with local organizations. I worked closely with youth, families, and community stakeholders to provide resources, advocacy, and a safe space for queer youth.
