Performed daily cost tracking and data entry to ensure up to date forecasting and accruals for projects as well as cost centers. Assisted the supervisors in the preparation of monthly progress reports. Prepared and issued purchase orders to vendors, reconcile invoices against purchase orders and resolved discrepancies. Assisted in the annual budget process including entering projects and spending profiles into the budgeting systems for 5 different groups. Ensured Intermittent Service Agreements and/or Consulting Service agreements were in place and up to date. • Worked as the financial lead on two emergency projects, completed Incident Command Training ICS 100 as part of the project. • Member of the SAP Super User group, in the role of the in-house SAP expert of the Sherwood Park Office for the managers and supervisors. • Set up internal orders for 6 company entities. • Administrator for all the Blackline working alone devices. • Entered all the 2019 cost center budgets and projects for 5 different groups for 6 company entities.

I invoice for the Land Survey (Geomatics) part of Opus Stewart Weir. I bill for legal survey work as well as invoicing for the Mapping portion of Opus including some US clients. Since I have worked at Opus I have done a bunch of different invoicing, I have invoiced for Atco Electric, Atco Pipelines, Atco Gas. I have also done some administrative duties with Opus including meeting minutes. I also take care of a sub contractor we have out of the states I keep track of all the crews time and equipment which I do a spreadsheet for every Monday.

When I worked at Pace Industrial I started off in Accounts Payable. That job was a very busy every invoice that came for the company came through me and I had to code everything so certain jobs. I was also in charge of expenses and getting everything approved by managers. When I would do a check run monthly it was about a 2 million dollar check run. I also cleared the bank rec for the company monthly. Then the company gave me a great new position in payroll. There was about 300 union/salary/hourly staff I did payroll for. I had to submit union dues and well as benefits. I would have still been with this company if the company had not gone under.

I started off working for Alberta Traffic Supply as the company receptionist/Accounts Payable. They soon realized that I could take on more of a challenging role. That is when I moved to the rental division of Alberta Traffic Supply. So that included taking orders for traffic signs over the phone/fax/email. Process the orders after the company bought the signs back I would bill out for the rental. If they had the signs for a long period of time I would bill them a monthly charge. We did a lot of work for the City of Edmonton, EPCOR's Drainage department.
