The Broadbridge Fund was founded to positively affect the lives of young people inAustralia and Thailand. The Broadbridge Education Centre was built on Thailand's PhiPhi Island in September 2005. This centre assists young people affected by the tsunami,allowing them to continue to learn after such devastation.Responsibilities: Broadbridge Fund: Developed media strategy, coordinated Reach programs in South Australia, first point of contact for The Broadbridge Fund, relationship manager of all sponsors and develop business plan and budget for 05/06 financial year and ongoing. Facilitator of Reach weekend camps for approximately thirty teenagers, Facilitator of Dandenong, Werribee and Mt Waverly course, Conducted Reach Rookys two-day workshops enhancing resilient children, Facilitator of school workshops for up to 200 participants.Achievements: Broadbridge Fund: established The Broadbridge Education Centre on Thailand's Phi Phi Island. Raised $550,000 in 2006 and continue to raise $60,000 annually. In 2009, the Broadbridge Fund donated $85,000 to the Reach Foundation to ensure the sustainability to continue to run programs for young people in Australia. One of The Reach Foundation's original `Crew' (young leaders), and since 2000 has been facilitating and inspiring groups of teenagers in activity based, educational programs, helping them to improve overall levels of self-esteem. The Reach FoundationReach is an Australian youth non-profit organisation. The Reach team of young leaders(aged 15-25) run interactive workshops, weekends away and large-scale events instillingself belief in young people. The main focus of our work is on prevention and earlyintervention. Reach was founded 15 years ago and in 2009 impacted over 58,000young Australians.Responsibilities: Member of the Reach Leadership Team. Strategic lead of Programs. Manage programs team (10 staff) that is united, inspired and effective. Manage Reach Facilitators & Crew (approx 130 young people). Ensure the delivery of quality programs that are consistent with the spirit and philosophy of Reach. Coordinate and prepare all submissions to Trusts and Foundations.
