I was hired to establish and maintain a recruitment program for three home care offices and three rehab outpatient clinics throughout the San Francisco, East Bay Area. Notable Achievements- Created a successful recruitment program while continuing to decrease cost per hire each year.- Staffed the clinics in a timely manner, as a result they made a profit for the first time in five years.- Stabilized the staffing needs of the three home care offices resulting in an increased sales effort.- Attracted a steady stream of candidates satisfying the staffing needs of each office/clinic.- Created an employee brand that effectively represents the culture and benefits of the company.- Developed an On-line/Social Media program that is a large contributor to decreasing the budget and providing a steady stream of candidates.

Notable Achievements- Accepted the responsibility of leading the recruiting department upon the Director’s resignation, including hiring, terminating, counseling and supervising three recruiters and one HR generalist. - Supported Nursing Administration by accepting the responsibility of interviewing, selecting and coordination of travel and registry staff. - Teach community and students of different career opportunities in the medical field by collaborating with the EDD and local high schools to put on Job and Career Fairs.- Managed a 2 million budget while decreasing recruitment expenses each year.- Implemented the Hospitals first Applicant Tracking System including training all hiring managers.- Restored the relationship with the local nursing programs resulting in more than doubling the amount of new graduate RNs recruited.- In collaboration with the VP of Nursing created a foreign recruitment program.- Increased Therapy recruitment by implementing an Earn to Learn Program and recruitment luncheon.- Maintained the same recruitment level after significantly decreasing sign-on-bonuses.- Successfully negotiated out of a Vendor Management Agreement and replaced them with a bidding resource that provides staff at a lower hourly rate, saving the organization up to $300,000/year.- Built a compliant orientation and tracking process of all temporary staff, upon receiving notice from CMS and JACHO the hospital was out of compliance in this area.- Created a position control tool for Nurse Managers and Nursing Administration to keep track of permanent and traveling nurses.
