Completed the largest social-services campaign in the North Texas region in January 2018. The $55 million capital campaign funds a 2025 strategic plan to increase meal access for 800,000 food-insecure people in the 13-county area served to 92 million+ annually including a new 230,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution center that opened in August 2018. Currently provides access to 77 million meals per year through direct distribution and social services programs. Effectively uses public support with 94% going to feeding programs; each $1 of public support provides access to 3 meals. Partners with a network 200+ partner agencies with food pantries and surround services to meet client needs. Engages community through 40,000 volunteers annually. Collaborates with corporations, individuals, foundations, Feeding America, Feeding Texas, other nonprofits and hunger-relief organizations to maximize impact.
