We coordinate professional development for member agencies, promote communication and outreach, develop intersectional partnerships as well as monitor and evaluate programs and services to ensure quality results and accountability.

The role of avenueNB is to manage the delivery of employment services for persons with a disability in New Brunswick through third-party specialized organizations. Ensuring persons with a disability and employers have equitable access to employment services and supports.

* Lead marketing and development initiatives for Employment First programs* Responsible for Increasing and Supporting Market Participation via management of job development and coaching services* Oversee Essential Skills Mentors and the province-wide Focus Forward program * Design and implement innovative curriculum approaches for Employment and Support Services Programs * Write funding proposals for large scale projects to support labour market participation for persons with disabilities* Network and liaise with employers, business owners, business development groups, government departments, employment agencies, and other community stakeholders

* Develop successful relationships with employers to effectively match potential employees* Identify Labour Market shortages and potential gaps in employment opportunities* Evaluate and solve barriers preventing individuals from obtaining long term employment* Prepare detailed reports to track team progress and efficiency * Work collaboratively with CEO, Management, and Supervisors on Employment First initiative* Utilize Magnet platform to address underemployment and unemployment in Greater Saint John area

* Mentor employees of ADAPT agencies on creating and delivering task-based learning material* Create customized learning material based on the needs of the individual learners and their goals* Adapt a variety of resources to maximize learner comprehension and success* Guide trainees through Essential Skills methodology* Utilize NOC Profiles, Essential Skills assessments, Essential Skills Enhancement Planning and Complexity Levels to effectively develop learning plans and outcomes for each learner

* Deliver Personal Development programs offered by the Department of Social Development* Inspire participants to utilize introspection and self assessment to actively pursue their goals* Liaise with Case Managers to ensure our clients' needs are met and exceeded* Compose reports to summarize feedback regarding participants' progress and program success* Supervise and coordinate the implementation of community projects to address community needs

* Facilitate training program offered by the Government of New Brunswick's Department of Post-Secondary Education Training and Labour* Lead adult learners to overcome employment barriers * Customize learning plans to address the needs of participants* Strategically adapt resources to address learning gaps in essential skills* Maximize results by integrating the National Occupational Classification * Create and maintain an efficient and inclusive learning environment
