Served as the Executive Director of EMERGE, a college access and success non-profit that ensures high-achieving students from underserved communities apply to, attend and graduate from the nation's most selective colleges and universities. During my time leading EMERGE, we expanded our footprint from 450 students in one school district to more than 3,000 students across 67 high schools, 5 school districts, and 150 selective colleges and universities. Since taking the helm in 2015, our operating budget has grown from 450K per year to more than 5 million, and our staff from 1 full-time non-profit employee to more than fifty.
