Business Applications Manager
Current• Supervises, mentors and leads a team of combined Application Analysts and Business Analysts• Responsible for Information Systems application management and procurement of software solutions and enhancements for the business units• Researches application requests, analyzes requirements and proposes recommendations• Preforms as a project leader to implement the solutions and special projects• Drives requirements gathering using interviews, document analysis, requirements, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis• Takes initiative to improve business processes through recommendations• Plans and executes projects that use technology to improve business processes; implements project plans including business objectives, timelines, resources and communications; is accountable for the progress of the plan• Helps ensure the quality of the applications by defining acceptance criteria• Manages day-to-day, production support of various applications; analyzes production issues and communication to business units• Manages programs, projects, and resources as required• Follows Project Management Office (PMO) policy and procedures as well as standardized templates• Assists with the development of department metrics and budgets• Assists in creating and scoring RFP, RFQ and RFIs• Estimates cost and assists in budget development as required• Directs users to appropriate help for information systems issues
