Supporting the role out of Ibec Medtech and Polymer Apprenticeships for the Medtech and Engineering sectors and managing the relationship with the Apprenticeships Consortium's and Stakeholders.My role involves coordinating and managing the development and implementation of the government funded and industry-led apprenticeship education and training initiatives for Irish Medtech Association and Polymer Technology Ireland. I am responsible for ensuring activity and financial targets are met and appropriate operational and governance procedures are followed. I am also responsible for managing and developing relations between the various stakeholders such as HEA, Solas, Apprenticeship Council, Education Providers and member companies.

Part of my role involved providing support and monitoring to a portfolio of networks within Skillnet Ireland.Assigned project manager for supporting the unemployed, working with network managers and other key stakeholders organisations such as Department of Employment & Social Protection (DEASP) and IDA Ireland to facilitate training of job seekers needs while providing grant funding towards their training costs.

I manage the Waterford Chamber Skillnet and work with organisations and SME's in the South East to facilitate their training needs while providing grant funding from the National Training Fund towards their training costs. The training is delivered locally using the highest caliber trainers, this allows staff to participate in relevant, flexible and cost effective training while enabling companies to become more competitive.

During this time I managed the training and development of the instructor group (45 people) within Bausch & Lomb Waterford site across 5 shifts. I was also involved in developing and managing the manufacturing operations procedures and development programmes across the different manufacturing processes.
