I am responsible for developing the inbound market for coastal Fukushima with a special focus on India. I am also involved in marketing policy development for the local government through research and analysis. I also participate in the translation and interpretation of tours and content originating in coastal Fukushima. In this position, I also hold the HSP (Highly Skilled Professional) Visa by the Japanese Government.

Co-developed a town-walking tour in Futaba town aimed to steer away from its image of a nuclear disaster-affected area by focussing on community development. Developed the tour in the English language based on the original Japanese tour to cater to international tourists.

Co-Founded Rurio with 2 other colleagues as a company focussing on regional consultancy and media development starting from Futaba, Fukushima. I focussed on organising tours in coastal Fukushima, consult local governments in project planning, and develop regional media to display aspects of soft reconstruction in the region. I also worked on content development for the official immigration website of Futaba town.

Co-founded a Science and Communication mentorship program for Miyagiken Sendai Daisan High School, a Super Science High School (SSH) under Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Government of Japan. Mentored 300+ students over 7 years with many alumni members successfully entering Tohoku University and representing Japan in regional science conferences in Asia.

Worked with the Media Team to report stories in English and Japanese about social issues in Japan. Reported on student political movement in 2010s, issue of family names post-marriage, challenges for the differently-abled, the situation in post-disaster Futaba town and the effect of COVID-19 on the mental health of university students.

Founded the first collaborative association between all the english student media outlets in Japan in order to share best practices and collaborate on various projects.

Co-founded in association with the Global Learning Centre, Tohoku University, TUSTEM aims to be an academic-cum-social community for students of STEM field at Tohoku University. Ideated the 'Coffee Series' which is meant to bring together scientists, Nobel laureates, academics, etc. from all over the world to create opportunities for casual interaction with students at Tohoku University. As of 2023, the group has 340 members and is functioning under 5th-generation leadership.

Created the first English-language student newspaper amongst 7 former imperial universities of Japan with a readership of 8,000 spread over 100 cities.

Selected amongst 80 students all across India by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Japan) and Ministry of Education (India) for a week-long exchange program in Japan. Led the contingent and also proposed ideas for implementing Japanese waste-segregation techniques via school education in India.
