With over 10 years of work experience in the social work and behavioral health field, I have developed core competencies in addiction recovery, mental health counseling, and psychiatric rehabilitation. My mission is to empower individuals to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals through peer support and evidence-based interventions. As the Peer Support Services Manager at St. Luke's Penn Foundation, I lead a team of dedicated and compassionate professionals who provide quality services to participants in various settings. I value collaboration, innovation, and diversity, and I strive to create a positive and supportive work environment for my staff and the people we serve.In my current role, I am responsible for directing, coordinating, and maintaining the administrative, fiduciary, and rehabilitative oversight of the Peer Support department. I develop and manage the annual operating budget, petty-cash, and payroll for the department, as well as interview, hire, and train all new staff. I also provide weekly individual and group supervision to the Peer Support team, and ensure that they follow the best practices and standards of the field. Additionally, I actively engage in multidisciplinary continuum of care meetings, lead all department projects, create marketing materials, build relationships with referral sources, and explore program expansion opportunities. I have successfully implemented a virtual onboarding process, increased the number of participants served, and secured multiple contracts with external agencies. I have also leveraged my skills in trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, and business administration to enhance the quality and efficiency of the program.
