In this role, Trish is responsible for creating frameworks, tools, and processes that align the Foundation's grant making, capacity building offerings, and research with its values around trust, equity, and innovation. She is also responsible for creating effective learning loops to enhance the leadership development practice of the Foundation, grant partners, and the field.

As the Director of Liberatory Leadership Practice, Trish works closely with the other organizations of the Liberatory Leadership Partnership to explore, define, and support approaches to leadership development and organizational capacity building that prefigure a world where all of us can thrive. In her role as Sterling Network Organizer, Trish directly supports the Sterling Network NYC to build the necessary culture and analysis to imagine and collectively work toward a more racially just and vibrant New York City.

In this role, Trish builds out leadership development programs and structural supports for Community Change staff and partners, with an emphasis on working with women of color and people of color staff more broadly.

Within Our Lifetime is a network of racial healing practitioners and racial equity advocates who are committed to ending the impact of racism in our lifetime. We heal communities and dismantle beliefs. We advocate for just policies and lead change. We learn, we listen, we act.As Network Coordinator for Within Our Lifetime, Trish supports the smart development and collaborative implementation of network strategy across its working groups.

As the first-ever executive director of YNPN, Trish led the network through theory of change process which translated a decade’s worth of YNPN activities into an intentional leadership development model for the next generation of social change agents. Additionally, she led strategic planning and communications alignment processes that clarified YNPN’s intended impact and more firmly centered equity, diversity, and inclusion in the mission and programming of the organization. Stewarded the network through the structural and cultural transformation accompanying the rapid growth of the network from 27 to 42 chapters in less than 4 years, and during the same period, grew the network and organizational support from staff of 1 to a team of 3 FT staffers and 4 PT Fellows, governed by a newly restructured board and Chapter Congress, and developed an effective fundraising strategy to support this expansion. She established YNPN's first-ever individual donor base and increased the organization's funding partners from 2 champion foundations in 2011 to 12 mission & values/aligned foundations just 4 years later, growing the organizational budget from >$75K to almost $500k.During her tenure, Trish expanded the research capacity and raised the profile and influence of the network via strategic partnerships with think tanks and media outlets such as Building Movement Project, Nonprofit Quarterly, Grassroots Fundraising Journal, and Chronicle of Philanthropy. She served as YNPN’s ambassador and representative with partners and numerous national coalitions and campaigns aimed at sharing current promising practices and the sector’s future for leadership development and social justice.
