I am currently in my second year at Brock University, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I am currently employed part-time by Ridgeway Lavender, a family-owned business located here in the Niagara Region. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Being from a rural town in Northern Ontario, I have learned to make the most of my time spent in nature, taking advantage of what our planet has to offer.In the past I have volunteered with a women's shelter (Chadwic Home) local to my community in Northern Ontario, and worked with other students in my high school to promote school spirit and the importance of mental health. When working with Chadwic Home, I was able to be an advocate for adolescent girls in my community, organizing activities with them to encourage self-esteem, self-care, and mental health. This experience only grew my interest in advocating for mental health and inspired me to work on making a difference in the lives of individuals I meet.
