Hi! My name is Tristan Curd and I’m currently a senior majoring in Computer Science. I'm also minoring in Business and in Digital Humanities, which bridges the gap between Computer Science and subjects such as History and English. I’m part of the Combs Honors Scholars and my dorm’s Student Advisory Board, and strive for diversity, equity, and inclusion in all my positions.Through my classes and internships, I've learned a ton about the various facets of software development. Most of my experience has been in fullstack development with an emphasis on frontend (especially from working on a startup), but I have also taken an interest in QA to ensure that the code being written is the safest it can be, even with all the moving parts that develop in larger organizations.Outside of class, I love learning new languages and learning about the creation of languages. I’ve been working on learning Vietnamese for a long time and just started learning Toki Pona, a conlang that emphasizes simplicity over everything else.
