These days companies are starting to rely on the expertise of their suppliers, as the work force ages and knowledge becomes lost to retirement. The suppliers too are suffering the same drain on knowedge so the gap is not always being replaced. I dont have all the answers but I have the determination and skills to find them out. This is where I started to grow into the person I am now, from university into work. Those first few years where a mentor is a valuable asset. Over 20 years you can easily become specialised and sometimes feel that you are in a box and forget that the skills are more important than the knowledge. You can build credibility as you take on new knowledge, you can always be reliable, you can build relationships by being authentic. above all you can work to serve others and bring them along on your own journey.
